Big Srecko was a very unlucky dog. As a puppy he caught Distemper. This is a disease that can be vaccinated against. But as an unwanted puppy, Big Srecko never got his vaccine. The Distemper ravaged his body and wrecked his paws. Several vets have seen him since, but nothing can be done to change to angle of his front paws. Due to the illness, he also has a problem in his throat that sometimes prevents it from working properly. He then starts foaming.
Big Srecko was found as a puppy and is a kind dog. He spent all his life in the shelter and will likely never find a real home due to his condition. At the shelter, Big Srecko lives alone in a separate compound with Bolek and Little Srecko, but spends several hours a day outside where he simply hangs out in the area. Despite his history, Big Srecko's name means "Big Lucky".
Big Srecko's costs per month average about 35 euros. That includes food, electricity, cleaning and minor vet checks.
Big Srecko no longer requires any therapies. But Svetlana does want to take him to the vet to check what is blocking his throat.
